Trouble Shooting, Error or Alarm Codes

1)    We know how frustrating it can be when there is an error on the screen. It will take just 5 minutes to correct the mistake.  First check to see if over 2.5 amp, panel displays a warning and an alarm will sound and the machine may automatically shut off. You probably added too much sea salt resulting in a high output. Just add more water to dilute the sea salt. You may have to start over with a fresh tub of water if there is not enough room in the tub.

2)    There is normally always something displayed on the screen when the device is on, for example; Voltage, Amperage, and Time. If the power is turned on, but here is no information displayed on the panel for more than 30 seconds, it could be caused by one of the following reasons; the power adapter is not functional, wire connections are lose, or there is no power in the electrical receptacle, or the fuse is blown.

3)    If the device is not responding; for example; if a key pressed is invalid, but the device is not responsive, then turn off the unit for ten seconds and restart.

4)    If the ionic array is connected with the main machine, submerged in the water, and the power is not but there is no bubbling activity from the array then:

a.    Sea salt has not been added, or electrode array may not be completely covered with water, or the electrical conductivity of the water is not enough (if using distilled water we suggest adding a little more salt and mixing the feet to dissolve –Recall normal Work Electricity Intensity (amperage), should be between 1.5 and 2.0 amps, and the Work Pressure (Voltage) between 12 and 15V.

b.    If sea salt has been added and the ionizer array is completely covered with water and the wire of the electrode is not connected with the main machine or there is damage with the wire of the plates in the ionic array, plug or connecting jacks. Inspect the cables for breaks, lose or corroded connections, or metal objects touching the metal plates inside the ionic array. c.     The main machine is damaged or defective. Call for technical support.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do we have to add salt to the water? A pre-made saline solution (consisting of household or sea salt and water) is added to the water in the foot bath to aid conductivity. The electrolysis process requires that an ionized solution be used to complete an electric circuit between two electrodes. The salt creates a frequency, which allows the array to work.

Why Does the Water Change Color? When toxins leave our body they are clear (i.e. perspiration). The toxins from our bodies react with the ionized water causing color change. Similarly, toxins already contained in the water react to cause some color change also. If the machine is run without a saline solution and without feet in the water then no color change will occur. If it is run with a saline solution in the water but no feet, a lemon/orange color usually occurs. This color will vary slightly depending on the water quality and chemical content in your area.

Have you proof of what it cures? The machine does not cure anything. It is simply a machine, which enables your body to re-balance its bio-energetic fields, which stimulates self-detoxification. When the electro-magnetic fields are balanced, the body's organs will naturally function better.

Can I get electrocuted from the array in the water?

The array in the water only carries 2.5 amps, so is safe for everybody. If however you are using the array in a full-sized bath please make sure the Ionic Detox Bath control box is placed a safe distance away from the bath water.

Current Error- Generally this means there is a bad connection between the wrist strap and the skin. Try putting a dab of water on the inside of the wrist strap on the metal, then put strap on and slide up on forearm. There is a better connection when strap is on forearm.  If you have tried all this and the current error still in on the screen, contact us for a new wrist strap.

Also unit may display add water. One cause could be a faulty array, try another array. Another issue could be you have softened water, if that is the case you need to use a different type of water. Softened water has to high of a salt content for usage. Also you may have added too much salt.  If you have added too much salt, you will need to shut the unit off and start over. Put fresh water in the tub and re start process.  Remember salt content varies from region to region, so let the unit run for at least one minute so the unit can read the salt content. Once you have a reading, add one teaspoon of salt every 2 minutes  until the reading is above 2.0 Keep the reading under 2.5 or the unit will beep and say add water or current error.
